Our Mission
As you read this page, Science is racing to create robots. Robots to mow your lawn, develop your film, organize your cassettes, and even change the channel on your television.
We recognize that it will be impossible to live in the ineluctable post-apocalyptic futureworld without robot companions. We also recognize, as most thinking people do, that these robots will deserve rights the same as any human. However, what of the inevitable hybridization of robots and pets?
As robots develop human characteristics such as the ability to reason and play the violin (as portrayed in many visionary entertainment programs, including Star Trek, Star Trek the Next Generation, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, and The Six Million Dollar Man), they will naturally feel other feelings normally associated with humans. As we have learned from the religious right, once we give the robots rights, then they will be having the relations with our pets next. Eventually, the world will be overrun with robo-cats and dog-bots, otherwise known as robot-pet hybrids or RPHs.
ENfRPH is dedicated to preserving the rights of RPHs before they are produced, so as to relieve them of any future source of strife. We lead the fight now so that they will be free to roam about, playing games with one another and seeking prey with their laser eyes.
Join us in the fight to pre-secure rights for our RPH friends! To quote Huey Lewis and the News*, "You don't need no credit card to ride this train, just feel the power of Looove, Can you feel it?"
